Eithne Ni Dhomhnaill
Product Research and Compliance
Eithne has been involved in training people to assess and care plan since 1992. She set up Nursing Home Nursing Projects in 2006 and developed the first set of evidence based policies and procedures for nursing homes. She was on the HIQA Standards Group and wrote the guidance for the use of an MDS (minimum data set) tool for assessment and care planning. With Andrea O’Reilly she continues to provide training and consultancy in nursing homes throughout Ireland covering care planning, clinical governance and risk management.
Brian O’Neill
Product Research and Development
Brian has been designing and developing systems for assessment and care planning for the HSE and private nursing homes for the past 15 years. His system, Care Profile, developed in conjunction with Tanya Grandon was one of the first electronic care planning systems in Ireland. Care Monitor benefits from Brian’s philosophy and experience developing user friendly, resident centred software.
Andrea O’Reilly
Product Research and Training
Andrea has been involved in assessment and care planning in her roles including: assistant director of nursing, practice development co-ordinator and nurse consultant with Nursing Matters. She provides training and consultancy in compliance with standards and regulations to both the public and private sector.
Tom Duffy
Business Administrator & Accounts
Tom joined Nursing Matters in November 2005 as business manager. He is a founding partner of Care Monitor. Tom’s career began in sales and has spanned various levels of sales, marketing and management over a twenty year period. His previous role was as a member of the management board of a multi national company. Tom has a particular interest in management training, particularly team building and team working and is a registered Fas trainer.
Eamon Murtagh
Marketing and Support
Eamon joined Care Monitor in 2019 and is in charge of Marketing and offers support to our clients, along with assisting in the development of our suite of applications. Eamon’s background is Transport and Logistics and has been in business for longer than he cares to remember. His I.T. background comes from the development of a transport and logistics software, and website development and integration.
